He is a Consultant Surgeon at Frimley Health Foundation Trust since 2013 and the Clinical Lead for Surgical Admission Unit. He developed a strategy for the surgical emergency service.
Under his supervision a direct link to GP Surgeries in Surrey County was built and developed, supported by a surgical help line and a well-structured emergency clinic run by a team of four Consultant Surgeons.
His team developed a New Service of Surgical Emergency Ambulatory Care to resolve the most frequent surgical problems in the Emergency Department. His work was presented at the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI) in 2015.
As Clinical Lead of the Surgical Admission Unit, he is very proud of the achievement over the last years in all the objectives proposed to optimise the surgical emergency at the department, confident of his contribution to Frimley Health Hospital be award by Health inspectors in 2014 with "outstanding" rating.

Institute of Oncology in Lisbon
After graduating from Faculty of Medical Sciences in Lisbon and obtaining a Master Degree in Medicine 2002, he began the basic medical training in Lisbon gaining the skills to start the specialist training in General Surgery in 2005.
During his residency at the Institute of Oncology in Lisbon, he developed scientific research in Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Tumours gaining the Certificate of Completion Training (CCT) General Surgery in 2011.
The Faculty of Medical Sciences Lisbon located in the south of Campo das Mártires da Pátria, which is classified as Property of Public Interest.
The current building of the Medical-Surgical School was created in 1836.
The Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa Francisco Gentil, (IPOLFG) was the first cancer centre in Portugal, founded in 1923. It is committed to the treatment of cancer, research and teaching in oncology. The patient is considered central to the care provided, as stated in its mission.
The IPOLFG is certified by the OECI (Organization of the European Cancer Institutes) as a Clinical Cancer Centre.
